New Year, New Partnerships: Pow Wow FitNish Teams Up with NAC and Goodlife Fitness

I am thrilled to share some exciting updates as we head into 2025! Pow Wow FitNish is growing, and I couldn’t be more proud to announce two incredible partnerships that will bring Pow Wow FitNish lessons to even more communities. These opportunities reflect my passion for sharing Indigenous culture and wellness through movement, and I’m beyond grateful for the chance to reach new audiences.

Weekly Workouts at the National Arts Centre

Starting February 2025, I will teach weekly Pow Wow FitNish workouts at the National Arts Centre (NAC) as part of their Indigenous Theatre Program. This partnership is a dream come true, allowing us to celebrate Indigenous culture through fitness in a space dedicated to showcasing Indigenous art and storytelling. Classes will be open to the public, and I’ll share traditional pow wow movements, songs, and stories to create a truly transformative experience.

Private Classes at GoodLife Fitness for the Indigenous Community

In partnership with GoodLife Fitness, I am excited to announce that starting January 16, 2025, I will be offering private Pow Wow FitNish classes to the Indigenous community at a GoodLife Fitness location in Ottawa. This initiative is designed to create a welcoming and supportive environment where we can come together, move to the rhythm of tradition, and prioritize our holistic wellness.
